Lilia brings a wealth of experience, with over 18 years in the insurance industry and has extensive business development and management experience due to the variety of roles she has worked in.

Lilia joined MetLife in 2019 as Head of Multinational Client Relationships Team with the purpose of managing and retaining the strategic global customers in the Gulf, after acting as Head of Sales Western Europe with MAXIS GBN (MetLife and AXA Joint-Venture).

Lilia held many senior roles including responsibility for Business Development in the Middle East and Africa , Global Underwriting with a focus on Middle East and Mediterranean markets and Marine, Yacht & P&C Underwriting for respectively MAXIS in the UK & France and AIG in Italy.

Lilia speaks fluent French, English, Italian, Arabic and conversational Spanish. She attended the Management Associate program at the AIG Insurance School in New York, holds a master’s degree in international Transport & B.A. in Finance from Pantheon Sorbonne University in Paris and University of Algiers.
