Mack is assigned as General Manager, International Affairs, Nippon Life Insurance Company, currently based in London, after spending 9 years in New York. He is responsible for accounting, regulatory and sustainability matters.
Among other global activities, he is serving as sherpa of the Asia Pacific Financial Forum (APFF) Insurance and Retirement Income Network. He is actively promoting SDGs in collaboration with the UN, G20, World Bank/IMF, OECD, APEC, and IFRS Foundation.
Formerly, he was employed by the BIS and served as a member of the IAIS Secretariat, sponsored by FSA Japan. He was responsible for standards implementation, including technical assistance and training of insurance supervisors in over 150 jurisdictions.
He is also known as multi-talented entertainer and has launched Music for SDGs Project, which aims to provide opportunities for the public to deepen understanding of SDGs through music, fashion shows, movies, and art, in collaboration with the UN, NGOs, and talented artists.
