As a Chartered Actuary educated at Witwatersrand and Johannesburg universities, André has championed innovation across the continent through strategic venture investments and partnerships.
At RGAX and RGA Ventures, he led investments in insurtech startups globally while maintaining deep African connections, including chairing RGA Ventures South Africa and investing in Inclusivity Solutions, which pioneered embedded insurance in developing markets. His portfolio spans from Silicon Valley's Sierra Ventures to Tel Aviv's QEDIT and DigitalOwl, while nurturing African innovation through LeapFrog Investments' emerging market fund.
Currently founding Lyandre Advisory Services in Cape Town, André bridges global insurtech innovation with African market needs.
