Rajiv Jamkhedkar is a veteran of Retail Financial Services with 33 years of experience. He has held positions of leadership in the Industry at the highest level.

Rajiv runs two businesses in his company, Serengeti Ventures: a consulting practice in India and Southeast Asia and The AZAD Programme, a unique service that helps individuals achieve financial freedom.

Rajiv’s last job was as MD & CEO of AEGON Life Insurance. Before that, Rajiv spent 17 years in retail banking (at Citibank and HSBC), mainly in consumer lending and commercial banking. Rajiv has extensive experience in start-ups and managing growth businesses.

Rajiv has a Ph.D. and an M.B.A. from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at the University of Delhi, as well as a B.Tech. degree from IIT-BHU, Varanasi. His doctoral research, titled “Technology-led disruption in retail financial services”, aligns with his interests in Innovation, Strategy and Technology.
