Dipak is a distinguished technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the Indian insurance sector, recognized for his innovative approach in navigating complex challenges. India’s insurance landscape is characterized by high transaction volumes, diverse sales channels, and a heavily regulated environment. Dipak has successfully addressed these challenges by implementing technology solutions across various operational models and product lines.
He played a pivotal role in transforming ICICI Prudential and Tata AIG, digitalizing multiple insurance offerings, including Life, Health, Motor, and Property & Casualty. Known for his groundbreaking "Core Surround Strategy," he has helped organizations modernize their Policy Administration Systems through advanced microservices architecture. His comprehensive approach covers all aspects of technology—application integration, information management, deployment and cloud architecture, governance, security, and compliance.
Beginning his career in technology startups, Dipak transitioned to the business side with Aviva Life Insurance in 2002. He rapidly rose through the ranks within the ICICI Group leading Tech Architecture and Strategy for ICICI Prudential, ultimately becoming the Chief Technology Officers (CTO) at Tata AIG at the time one of the youngest CTOs in Tata Group. During these tenures is credited for setting new benchmarks for technological advancement in the Indian insurance industry.
With expertise in "Digital Business Architecture" and the "Strategic Use of IT," Dipak is known for his hands-on approach and passion for merging business and technology. In 2022, he embraced entrepreneurship to extend his impact, focusing on digital transformation consulting, cybersecurity, and cutting-edge technologies.
