Ashish Mahajan started his career as a GIC Direct Recruit Officer with United India Insurance Co LTd. in India . He did his graduation with English Literature. He did his Associate from the Insurance Institute of India and attended many trainings at National Insurance Academy, on various technical subjects . Gained experience in Underwriting , Claims , Reinsurance and Business in various middle management roles in United India and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance . Thereafter went on to execute senior level responsibilities in Reliance , Cholamandalam MS and Srei BNP Paribas Insurance Broking . He moved to Dubai to Head Driesassur Insurance Broker as CEO and Al Futtaim Willis as Major Accounts Director . Was the Head of General Takaful in Noor Takaful where he did the reinsurance backed project of La Mer Island and made the company profitable in General Business in one year . He went on to lead Al Rajhi Takaful as Head of General Takaful in KSA . Again, turned around the General Business to profitable from loss making . He was selected by the Minister for Housing , Government of KSA to Head Mortgage Guarantees in Real Estate Development Fund where he introduced two new Guarantee products being done for the first time in Middle East . He has gained more than three decades of experience in all lines of General Takaful and is an astute leader and team player .He has done many prestigious project insurances in UAE and KSA and handled large accounts like Dubal/ Emal , Air Arabia and motor business of Abdul Lateef Jameel and Al Rajhi Bank to name a few .
