Aysun has more than twenty years of experience in insurance and private pensions business. She received a bachelor's degree from METU Department of International Relations and a doctorate from Essex Business School, England UK.

Aysun has assumed a variety of roles including marketing, analytcs, strategy and corporate communications. She currently serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the Insurance Association of Türkiye. Her main focus areas gather around research, strategy development, and private pensions business. She’s been concentrating in particular on the digitalization that enhance customer experiences and the impact of the latest technological developments. She is interested in ways the digital technologies to be devised in a way to improve the conduct of business and customer journey in insurance sector in Türkiye.
