Mr. Rahul Prasad has been the CEO of HDFC International Life and Re Company since May 10, 2023. Previously, as Deputy CEO, he was key in managing client and
partner relations across the GCC, MENA, and emerging markets, driving revenue growth and expanding into new business lines.
Rahul began his career in 2004 with HDFC Life, India’s first private life insurer, and played a crucial role in its bancassurance channel. By late 2013, he was promoted to
Vice President, International Business. His 20-year association with HDFC Life and HDFC International Life and Re includes significant contributions to the company's
establishment in the DIFC and the development of strategic alliances in the GCC and MENA regions.
As CEO, Rahul now oversees strategic planning, operational excellence, and governance to ensure sustainable performance and growth.
