Jérôme Katz is a C-suite insurance executive with extensive leadership experience across East Africa, currently heading MUA Insurance Tanzania, where he drives strategic growth, digital transformation, and the launch of MUA Life Tanzania. With a strong track record in corporate, retail, and inclusive insurance, he actively engages in regulatory affairs, stakeholder management, and partnerships with international reinsurers, strategic investors, and development institutions such as UNDP and Proparco (AFD Group).
He began his career at JPMorgan in Paris before joining the MUA Group in Mauritius in 2009, where he held various management roles and oversaw digitalisation, marketing, and asset management activities. He has also served on the boards of several East African insurance subsidiaries, supporting regional governance and expansion. He holds a Master in Management from ESCP Europe in Paris.
