Ms. Mini George, Executive Director and Financial Advisor at the Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited (AIC), has over 34 years of distinguished service in the insurance industry.

She began her career with National Insurance Company Ltd. in 1991 and, over the years, has handled diverse departments and regional offices, consistently demonstrating leadership, innovation, and strategic foresight.

At AIC, Ms. George has led a remarkable digital transformation, heading the development of SEWANxT, the Company’s next-generation core insurance platform that has revolutionized agricultural and allied insurance in India.

Under her guidance, AIC has harnessed advanced technologies such as geospatial analytics, biometric identification, satellite-based assessment, and real-time digital payments.

​IT initiatives—SEWANxT, SARUS, FORM, and the Geospatial Crop Monitoring System (GCMS)—have positioned AIC as a frontrunner in insure-tech innovation, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and inclusion while empowering millions of farmers across the country. Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC) has won the “Technology Initiative of the Year” award at the 29th Asia Insurance Industry Awards, organised by Asia Insurance Review. The award was received by Mrs. Mini George during the 21st Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC).
