Mr. Manoj Kumar Jain, 58, is the Managing Director of Shriram Life Insurance Company Limited. With over 35 years of experience in financial services and more than 20 years in life insurance, he has played a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation.
As CEO of Shriram Life (2012–2015), he led nationwide expansion, achieving 20% CAGR against an industry average of 10%. Since 2015, he has served as Managing Director, making him one of the longest-tenured leaders in the Indian life insurance industry. A founder member of HDFC Standard Life Insurance, he also held senior roles at Shriram Fortune Services, Tata Motor Finance, and 20th Century Finance Corporation.
Under his leadership, Shriram Life has won global recognition, including the Golden Globe Tigers Award (2018, Malaysia), International Quality Crown Award (2017, London), India Insurance Award for Best Non-Urban Coverage (2015–2016), Asia’s Greatest Leader Award (2023–24), ASSOCHAM 16th Global Insurance Summit & Awards (2024–25).
