Manny Gawad is a highly certified IT and Cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of international experience in both IT and Cyber governance including digital transformation. Currently serving as Deputy Chief of IT Officer at Salama Cooperative Insurance Company, he leads cybersecurity strategy, IT governance, and compliance with SAMA, NCA, and PDPL frameworks, ensuring alignment with global cybersecurity trends and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and zero-trust architecture principles.
 
Manny has a strong record of implementing next-generation security solutions, fostering team excellence, and driving digital resilience in accordance with the evolving global cyber threat landscape. He has extensive expertise in SOC operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response, supported by advanced certifications including CISM, CCIE-S, ISO/EIC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer and MCSE. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Cyber Security & Digital Forensics at the University of Portsmouth to further advance his leadership and technical capabilities.
