Michel Medawar is a seasoned IT executive with over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation, cloud adoption, and AI solutions in the reinsurance and financial sectors. As Head of IT at Arab Reinsurance Company, he has led enterprise-wide technology initiatives, including reinsurance solutions development, disaster recovery, cybersecurity governance, and AI-driven innovation.
Currently pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration at Toulouse Business School, Michel’s research focuses on building an AI-driven 360º comprehensive risk assessment and decision-making framework for property insurance underwriting. He also holds an Executive MBA from ESCP and a BS in IT & Computing.
Michel is widely certified across IT governance, risk, security, project management, and AI (CGEIT, CISM, CRISC, PMP, PMI-ACP, CAIP, Azure Data Scientist Associate).
