Nasser’s leadership in digital transformation began at King Fahad Medical City, where he directed the implementation of the EPIC electronic health record system—one of Saudi Arabia’s largest health IT projects. He also contributed as Model of Care Lead for the Second Health Cluster in Riyadh, where he championed data-driven healthcare models using AI and predictive analytics. Internationally trained, Nasser completed his residency in Family Medicine at Texas Tech University, served as Chief Resident, and later advanced his expertise in clinical informatics at The Ohio State University. He also holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and completed executive programs at Harvard Business School in general management and healthcare economics. Beyond his executive roles, Nasser is an active contributor to scientific literature, with publications on obesity-related costs, diabetes prevalence, and therapeutic inertia. He is a member of prominent medical organizations including the American Medical Informatics Association, HIMSS, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. A strategic thinker and effective communicator, Nasser combines clinical insight with systemlevel thinking to improve healthcare delivery, elevate insurance regulation, and support national health objectives in Saudi Arabia.
