Dr Asif Syed, MD is a qualified clinician, with over 20 years of experience in Life & Health Insurance Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Six Sigma & product development. Starting his career as a Clinician, he later has worked in Health Insurance TPA and in Life Insurance Underwriting, Claims, Medical Network in 2 large Life Insurance Companies in India. In his current role as Chief Underwriter & Head of Claims at Munich Re, Dubai, he is focused on driving the underwriting excellence, enhancing claims management and delivering sustainable value to clients across Middle east & Africa regions.
Over last many years, Dr Asif has been a speaker at various Seminars & Conferences in Asia & Europe. In addition to Life Insurance risk management, his areas of interest include Health & Wellness, TPD & CI Insurance and Innovation in Underwriting
