In a career spanning over 30 years, he has worked for Allianz Group for over 24 years. Anuj has held senior responsibilities across geographies. Currently, he is CEO for Gulf General Insurance, Jeddah based insurance company with focus on E commerce. Lastly, he had been CEO & Board member for Allianz Saudi Fransi since May 2021 where he along with his management team were responsible for turnaround of the company. Prior to that as Regional Chief Financial Officer for Africa, he was responsible for implementing common accounting system across 13 companies and was board member for the English speaking companies. He was MD& CEO for Bajaj Allianz Life for three and half years in India responsible for joint venture company. He has also worked as Chief Financial Officer of Allianz Insurance Co. Ltd, Egypt 2009-2012 and Country Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Allianz Indonesia 2012-2013. He also was Chief Financial Officer for largest life company in India, SBI Life from 2007 to 2009.
He brings knowledge of having worked in various insurance markets.
He holds a Masters of Management Studies (Finance) from the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies - University of Bombay in India and Advance Diploma in Insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute, UK with distinction in Life Assurance.
