Jochen was the Regional Chief Underwriting Officer for Property & Casualty for Allianz in Asia Pacific, also overseeing the functions of Legal, Compliance and Corporate Communications.

He is a Member of the Executive Board of Management, which is responsible for setting and executing Allianz’s growth strategy in Asia.

During his 18 years with Allianz Group, Jochen has held several senior positions in Europe and Asia. He most recently served as Member of the Board of Management and Chief Claims Officer in Germany. Other positions before were Regional Chief Business Officer in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Regional Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific.

He graduated with a German law degree from the University of Tuebingen and a U.S. law degree (LL.M.) from the University of Michigan. He also holds a Global MBA degree from Columbia Business School / London Business School / Hong Kong University and is an AMP-Graduate from Harvard Business School. He is admitted as Attorney-at-Law in the U.S. (New York) as well as in Germany.
