Adnan Abu Alhaija’a is the Chief Risk Officer at RAKINSURANCE, with over 25 years of leadership experience across Risk Management, Insurance, IT, and Information Security throughout the MENA and GCC regions.

He has previously served as Group Head of Risk Management at Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Company (QGIRCO) and Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Gulf Insurance Group (GIG Jordan). His expertise includes strategic planning, governance, ESG integration, and enterprise risk frameworks.

Adnan is a Certified Member of the Institute of Risk Management (CMIRM, UK) and holds additional professional credentials in sustainability, insurance, and risk Management. Also Holds master’s degree in computer science and information systems.
