Global Insurance & Actuarial Leader

Shoaib is a Fellow of Society of Actuaries USA (SOA) and carries an experience of over 30 years through all major markets around the globe. He has been based in UAE since 2008 where he worked at MetLife at different leadership roles including Regional Chief Actuary of Middle East & Africa, Global Head of Product Review and Vice President Actuary of Europe Middle East. Prior to joining MetLife, Shoaib worked in Pakistan at public sectors as Chief Government Actuary, Director (Insurance) SECP and Assistant General Manager at State Life Insurance.
Shoaib is also widely known and highly respected among actuarial and finance community in Middle East, Africa & South Asia – he is currently Chair of SOA Committee for Middle East, Africa & Pakistan (MAP) Region.
