He previously served as Chairman and CEO of the DIFC Insurance Association and served as Chairman of the Board of AlManara Insurance in Jordan. He also established
and led the Insurance Commission of Jordan for over a decade.
Dr Hindawi was a member of the board of the International Insurance Society, and represented the MENA region on the executive committee of the International Association of Insurance Regulatory Authorities
